DIY homemade lip scrub DIY: Lucious Lips With Homemade Sugar Lip Scrub

Now that that this cold weather is dying down it’s time to get rid of that dry winter skin and prepare your lips for the summer.

Instead of buying those expensive lip scrubs try making one at home with these ingredients that I am sure you all have in your kitchen.

My recommendation, use the lips scrub once or twice a week depending how dry your lips are.

Ingredients:

1 tbs of brown sugar

1 tbs of honey

1 tsp of coconut oil

Instructions: Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl until it becomes a past-like substance. Once you’re done you can now put it in a container and keep it in room temperature or you can keep in the fridge. When I first made this, I kept mine in the fridge,  then the scrub hardened and it was hard to scoop out however it is up to you.

Instructions for use: Take a small amount (a dime size) of the scrub and massage it in circles on your lips for one minute. Leave it on for a few seconds after you massage it so that your lips can absorb the moisture from the coconut oil and honey. Next, wet a small cloth and and gently take off the scrub. Voilà! Your lips are now luscious and dry skin free.
