Fashion mavens Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen attended the 2012 CFDA Fashion Awards held on Monday (June 4) while posing with Lauren Hutton at Alice Tully Hall in New York City.
The 25-year-old fashion designers wore designs from their The Row collection. Mary-Kate paired her black ensemble with Louis Vuitton shoes and Sidney Garber jewelry while Ashley wore Manolo Blahnik shoes and accessorized with a bag by The Row and wore Sidney Garber jewels as well.
The twins were big winners tonight as they took home the “Womenswear Designer of the Year Award.”
It was the finale she has been waiting for, Lindsay Lohan arrived in court on Thursday (March 29) for her last probation hearing in Los Angeles, CA.
The 25-year-old actress who wore Givenchy, Celine and The Row was given the best news after Judge Stephanie Sautner told her that her probation for her 2007 DUI conviction and probation violations has ended after she completed her required community service and psychotherapy sessions.
However according to Judge Sautner, Lohan will remain on informal probation for her jewelry theft conviction until May 24th, 2014. ”The only terms left for you on that case are to obey all laws. Not that hard,” the judge told Lindsay.
Judge Sautner also had some wise words of advice for Lindsay, ”I know it’s kind of hard with people following you all over the place…but that’s the life you chose. I’m not going to give a lecture because you know what you need to do. You need to live your life in a more mature way. Stop the nightclubbing and focus on your work.”
Mary Kate Olsen and her sister Ashley Olsen have officially landed their first Vogue cover.
The designers of The Row are featured on the cover of the magazine’s annual “Best Dressed” issue, which hits stores November 15th.
It seems like a good sense of fashion runs in the family as there are a number of sister duos on the “Best Dressed” list. The twins beat out Dakota & Elle Fanning (No.2), Beyonce & Solange Knowles (No.7), Kate & Pippa Middleton (No.9) and Rooney & Kate Mara (No.10).
Although they had some fierce competition, it seems like the twins were a shoe-in. Vogue’s Fashion News Director Mark Holgate said that choosing the Olsens was “kind of a no brainer” for him.
