The first award show of the year took place today, Kaley Cuoco hosted the 2013 People’s Choice Awards on Wednesday (January 9) held at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, CA.
‘The Hunger Games‘ was the movie to beat as the film won five awards, Jennifer Lawrence even picked up the award for Favourite Movie Actress.
Alicia Keys, Jason Aldean and Christina Aguilera took over the stage performing during the show.

Lenny Kravitz is taking on his first leading role as Marvin Gaye in an upcoming biopic about the Motown legend.
This isn’t the first acting role for the 48-year-old singer who had a supporting role in ‘The Hunger Games.’
According to Deadline, the currently untitled film will be directed by Julien Temple and will focus on “when the soul singer attempted to get his addictions under control and career back on track.”
Production starts next year.

It’s one of the funnest award shows of the season, the 2012 Teen Choice Awards took place on Sunday (July 22) held at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, CA.
Hosted by Demi Lovato and Kevin McHale, the show included performances by No Doubt, Flo Rida, Justin Bieber and Carly Rae Jepsen.
Big winners of the night included ‘The Twilight Saga,’ ‘The Vampire Diaries‘ and ‘The Hunger Games.’
