Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber came out on top at the 2012 American Music Awards which took place on Sunday (November 18) at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, CA.
Usher opened up the show with an energetic performance, other performances included Carly Rae Jepsen who also picked up the award for New Artist of the Year, No Doubt, Ke$ha, Kelly Clarkson, Taylor Swift who sang her new upcoming single “I Knew You Were Trouble,” Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj, Pink, Christina Aguilera, Pitbull, Linkin Park, Carrie Underwood as well as Stevie Wonder who paid tribute to the late Dick Clark.
YouTube sensation Psy closed off the show with his hit “Gangnam Style” which included a special appearance by MC Hammer!
