Natural beauty Selena Gomez covers the September 2012 issue of Teen Vogue magazine.
Looking gorgeous in the Boo George spread, the “Love You Like a Love Song” singer talks openly about choosing more grown-up roles, her next album and her relationship with Justin Bieber.
On choosing more mature acting roles: ”Being part of the Disney Channel was such a blessing, and I’m super happy with what my show accomplished, but acting is something I would like to take on more seriously. I don’t necessarily feel accomplished. I want to create a whole different persona when it comes to acting. Monte Carlo was a good step for me at the time, but I would never want to do something like that again.”
On her next album & wanting to work with Justin Timberlake: It’s going to be different — a little older but still really fun. Who I would die to work with, but I don’t think he ever would—I don’t even think he’s doing music anymore—is Justin Timberlake. Just ’cause I love his music sooo much.”
On her relationship with Justin Bieber: ”It’s really fun. I’m lucky. I’m 20. I don’t take anything in my personal life too seriously. I have great friends and a solid group of people I love. I feel like everything else will come organically.”
Getting herself a little exposure, Selena Gomez covers the July 2012 issue of Elle magazine.
Looking more grown-up and sexy than ever the “Love You Like a Love Song” songbird discussed boyfriend Justin Bieber and how he rented out the LA Staples Center for a private screening of ‘Titanic,’ “If I’ll share anything with you, it’s that he really is a hopeless romantic. I had just mentioned it in the car – all I said is that I really want to see Titanic again, and then.”
Gomez also talked about working for Disney, “Disney is a machine, so people automatically assume that you can’t work for the channel unless you act and sing and dance and sign up for all that. That’s absolutely not true. I always did everything the way I wanted to do it.”
As for her upcoming movie roles, “I get offered the teenybopper movies, and I’ve done that. I haven’t done a mega-hundred-billion-dollar Transformers movie, but that’s not what I want to do either.”
