The night started off somber but host LL Cool J reminded everyone that the 54th Annual Grammy Awards which were held on Sunday (February 12) are all about the music.
Adele made a triumphed return on stage after her vocal chord surgery where she sang her hit “Rolling in the Deep” and took home some of the night’s biggest honours including “Album of the Year,” “Record of the Year” and “Song of the Year.”
Rock group Foo Fighters were also big winners tonight sweeping up the award for “Best Rock Album” and “Best Rock Performance.”
During the evening Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Bruno Mars, Chris Brown, Rihanna, Coldplay, Katy Perry, The Beach Boys, Paul McCartney, Taylor Swift all took the stage to perform but it was Jennifer Hudson‘s touching tribute to Whitney Houston that gave everyone chills as she sang “I Will Always Love You” in memory of the late singer who passed away yesterday.
