The ‘Modern Family‘ co-stars dressed to impress for the occasion, Sofia wore a teal silk jersey Hervé L. Leroux pleated gown while Julie wore a chrome Monique Lhuillier Fall 2013 strapless gown with black Rupert Sanderson pumps.

No, this isn’t part of an upcoming ‘Modern Family‘ episode, Julie Bowen, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet found themselves stuck in an elevator at the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel for approximately 45 minutes on Friday (March 1) on their way to a Boys & Girls fundraiser.
Jesse took to his Twitter to post the above photo with the caption, “This is us right now. 45 mins stuck in this elevator.”
After the trio were finally freed by the fire department, Jesse tweeted, “Finally made it out of the stuck elevator at the one hour mark. At least the firemen in K.C. are cute.”
It looks like the co-stars were able to make a joke out of the whole ordeal, once on stage Stonestreet told the crowd, “Have a great night and don’t use the elevators!”
