With yet another busy day ahead of him, Leonardo DiCaprio was spotted on the set of ‘The Great Gatsby‘ today (November 18) in Sydney, Australia.
The ‘J.Edgar‘ actor looked dapper in a white suit and carried a walking cane. He was also joined on set by his co-stars Carrey Mulligan & Tobey Maguire.
The movie is an adaptation of F.Scott Fitzgerald’s novel which is a ”Long Island-set novel, where Midwesterner Nick Carraway is lured into the lavish world of his neighbor, Jay Gatsby. Soon enough, however, Carraway will see through the cracks of Gatsby’s nouveau riche existence, where obsession, madness, and tragedy await.”
DiCaprio recently opened up and talked about the film, “What’s really cool is working with [director] Baz [Luhrmann] and this 3D format that’s being used for drama,”
He continued, “Most of the time, you associate 3D with the spectacle of it, but he really wants to use 3D to create emotional impact with the characters and almost use it like what it would be like to immerse yourself in a theater production,”
The movie is set to be released in December 2012 and also stars Isla Fisher, Gemma Ward, and Joel Edgerton.
