The sequel to ‘Dumb and Dumber‘ was set to start shooting in September but it looks like one of the film’s leading stars has already left the project.
Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels were signed on to reprise their roles from the hit 1994 comedy however Entertainment Tonight is reporting that the Carrey has exited the project.
“According to sources, Carrey grew increasingly frustrated by New Line and Warner Brothers, who he felt showed a lack of enthusiasm regarding the project.”
Carrey has been quoted by his publicist saying this about the report, “I would have thought Dumb and Dumber Two was a no-brainer, after all it’s implied in the title.”
