Hilary Swank is Gotham Magazine’s cover girl for December 2011.
The ‘Million Dollar Baby’ actress is featured in the spread by Brian Bowen Smith as well as opening up in her interview about her new movie ‘New Year’s Eve’ as well as her early plans on being an actress.
On the new movie, the actress says, “It’s called New Year’s Eve. Essentially, the idea behind the movie is every year we get a second chance to do better, to do more, to forgive, to love more, to give more.”
On when she decided she wanted to be an actress, “When I was eight years, I was playing Mowgli in The Jungle Book, and I knew I wanted to be an actor. Then later, my mom was at a crossroads in her life and she said, ‘If you really want to do this, we should go to California.’ And my mom and I picked up and went to California.”
