Congrats! Giuliana & Bill Rancic Expecting First Child!

It’s been a long struggle but Giuliana and Bill Rancic are expecting their first child!

The couple broke the news on the ‘Today‘ show on Monday (April 23) confirming that they indeed are having a baby via gestational surrogate.

“We are absolutely ecstatic to be sharing this with everyone who has been following our journey,” Bill gushed.

Giuliana who was diagnosed with breast cancer underwent a double mastectomy, and is currently cancer free. The couple have been frank about their struggles to conceive which included failed IVF treatments and a miscarriage.

Giuliana Rancic “Doing Very Well” After Four Hour Double Mastectomy Surgery

After a four hour double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery Giuliana Rancic is ‘doing very well” according to her husband Bill Rancic.

Bill spoke to E! News about his wife saying, ”G is doing really well. Her surgery lasted about four hours and the doctors were very pleased with the result.”

“She had a little bit of pain through the night but is feeling much better this morning and was cracking jokes,” he said.

We’re very happy to hear Giuliana is doing well and is in good spirits!

Giuliana Rancic to Undergo Double Mastectomy

Appearing on NBC’s ‘Today‘ show, Giuliana Rancic and her husband Bill Rancic made a huge announcement on Monday (December 5) saying that the ‘E! News‘ host will undergo a double mastectomy.

While making the announcement Giuliana explained her reasoning for choosing the option, “For me, it was important to get the cancer out,” she said. “That’s what I wanted to do, just get it out.”

“At the end, to be honest, all it came down to was just choosing to live, and not looking over my shoulder for the rest of my life,” Giuliana continued.

She said her husband Bill is her biggest suporter and he gave her some encouraging words, “I just want you around for another 50 years. I need you healthy. I need you as my wife. I need you as a mother to our kids,” Bill said.

Giuliana’s surgery is scheduled for next week and she plans to ring in the new year in NYC, “I hope for a full recovery by New Year’s Eve. We’re planning to be in Times Square!”

What an inspiration!
