Andrew Garfield and Marc Webb are confirmed for ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2‘!
The ‘Social Network‘ actor will reprise his role as Peter Parker and Webb will be back to direct the sequel.
Emma Stone is still in talks to return as Gwen Stacy, Parker love interest in the film.
“We could not be more confident in the direction we are taking this new Spider-Man storyline and we are tremendously excited to be ramping up production again with Marc at the helm and Andrew continuing on as Peter Parker,” Doug Belgrad, president of Columbia Pictures said. ”We can’t wait to share what we have in store for Peter and Spider-Man with audiences worldwide.”
‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2′ will start production in 2013 and is set to hit theatres in 3D on May 2, 2014.
