‘Oz The Great and Powerful‘ isn’t hitting theatres till March 8th but I am already mesmerized by the costumes in this film.
Once I found out that designer Jerome C. Rousseau had designed a pair of heels inspired by Glinda the Good Witch, I was all over it!
The limited-edition sparkly open-toe heel with spiral detailing will be exclusively available to purchase on Shoescribe.com on March 7th to commence with the film’s opening.
Jerome opened up about his inspiration for the shoe revealing, ”My thinking was more focused on the overall fantastical and whimsical nature of the film,” he said. “I was inspired by the landscapes, costumes, and characters, so I thought of each Oz witch when I worked on the exclusive design. I think there are elements of each character represented in this style — it’s fierce, magical, elegant, and daring all at once.”
