With the Oscars just a few days away, I got the opportunity to chat with actress Tehmina Sunny about her role in Ben Affleck‘s film ‘Argo.’
This is the second Oscar film for the English beauty, her first being ‘Children of Men‘ and now Tehmina will be starring in the Toscars parody of ‘Argo.’
When she’s not working with big Hollywood giants, Tehmina can be seen in the upcoming ABC show ‘Mistresses‘ as Natalie Wade alongside Alyssa Milano as well as roles in The Newsroom, NCIS, Californication and Heroes.

VB: How was your experience working alongside Ben Affleck in ‘Argo‘?
TS: One of the best experiences to date. Ben is down to earth, funny, humble, a great person to work with.
VB: This is the second film you’re in that has been an Oscar contender. What do you look for when taking on a role?
TS: For me its about the script. If I am passionate about the story, I will take any role I can to be apart of the project.
VB: Tell me about your part in the upcoming Toscars.
TS: Funny enough, the character I play in ‘Argo,’ I also play in the parody ‘Stargo’. But of course its more tongue & cheek in the parody.
VB: Is there anything you have learned from the directors that you have worked with throughout your career?
TS: It is beyond words can express. Each & every time I have worked with a director has been so valuable. I always learn something. I’m like a sponge, I love soaking in new information. Its never too late to learn new things. Every director’s process is different, which I’m fascinated by.
VB: For those who may have recently started following your career, how old were you when you stared acting?
TS: I started acting 6 years ago. I was late coming into acting, I was in my mid twenties.
VB: Who are your major influences?
TS: I have so many. I am fascinated with other actors. I get mesmerized watching so many talented individuals using themselves to tell a story. I love being inspired!
VB: Is there an actor or director that you are dying to work with?
TS: Ridley Scott & Leonardo DiCaprio.
VB: Are you working on any current projects?
TS: I am working on a fun Motion Capture project. But its hush hush for now.
To see if ‘Argo’ wins BIG at the Oscars tune in on Sunday (February 24) at 7/6c and make sure you come back to Vicky B. Online for a recap of the show and of course to check out the red carpet coverage.
