Jennifer Hudson is making her way to the small-screen as she has joined NBC‘s ‘Smash,’ Entertainment Weekly reports.
The Oscar-wining actress/singer will join ‘American Idol‘ alum Katherine McPhee in a multi-episode arc next season.
EW is reporting that Hudson will star as Veronica Moore, a Tony Award-winning Broadway star who impacts the lives of Karen (McPhee) and Ivy (Megan Hilty).
