True Performance Skating is one of the biggest improvements in the newest release. Over 1,000 new gameplay animations have been employed in NHL 13 to improve realism. Some of the other new features include GM Connected which allows you to play as a commissioner or as a player on the team, Presentation Enhancements which include new TV-style camera angles and Hockey IQ which was designed to improve the reactions of players on the ice to improve upon overall realism.
