The music industry has lost another icon as Donna Summer – the Queen of Disco- has passed away at the age of 63.
The “Hot Stuff” singer reportedly died of lung cancer and according to TMZ, Summer believed she contracted the disease after inhaling particles after the 9/11 attack.
Summer’s family released a statement saying, “are at peace celebrating her extraordinary life and her continued legacy.”
“Words truly can’t express how much we appreciate your prayers and love for our family at this sensitive time,” the statement continued.
