Chris Meloni to Join ‘True Blood’ For Season Five

From mingling with criminals to mingling with vampires? It looks like Chris Meloni is joining the cast of ‘True Blood‘ for the fifth season as a series regular.

According to producer Alan Ball, the ‘Law and Order: SVU‘ actor who left the series after 12 seasons will play “an ancient, powerful vampire who holds the fate of Bill and Eric in his hands.”
