Jimmy Kimmel and Kerry Washington were up bright and early to announce the 2012 Primetime Emmy nominations on Thursday (July 19).

Airing Sept. 23rd, the show will honor the best in primetime television. This year ‘Mad Men‘ and ‘American Horror Story‘ lead the noms with 17 each.
