We here at Vicky B. Online went to the Britney Spears concert concert in Toronto, Canada on Sunday night (August 14) and I am so excited to share my photos with you all! The “Femme Fatale” tour opened up with a DJ set from ‘Jersey Shore‘s Pauly D which got the crowd fist pumping and energized. The opening act was non other than Nicki Minaj herself which let me tell was one amazing opening number. Minaj and her dancers worked their way through one energizing set which included a surprise appearance from non other than Drake himself. Not only did they perform their song “Moment 4 Life” together but she even gave the Toronto native a lap dance during her hit song “Super Bass.”
After a 40 minute wait it was time for the woman of the hour to arrive. Britney Spears graced us with her presence and let me tell you, her show did not disappoint. Now I read some reviews recently that the “Toxic” singer was not into performing anymore well clearly there was no evidence of that on Sunday night as she danced up a storm and never skipped a beat. She even spoke a lot to the audience which I thought was amazing as when I went to see her during her “Circus” tour she didn’t do much of that.
The the song set was fantastic, it included some of her old hits like “Baby One More Time,” “Boys,” “Toxic” and of course many of her new songs like “Hold It Against Me,” “Till the World Ends,” “Big Fat Bass” and more.
My favorite performance had to be her Egyptian styled remix of “Gimme More,” her Blackout album was phenomenal and though she never really toured during that time I am happy she performed the song. Other surprises included her performance of Rihanna‘s “S&M” minus RiRi herself and at the end Minaj joined Spears on stage for their remix of “Till the World Ends.” Since Ke$ha was in town the same night I was actually hoping she might have done an appearance as well.
Other than that it was a phenomenal show! Hope you all enjoy the photos!
