Katy Perry may be a hot commodity but the “Firework” singer has declined a $20 million offer from ‘American Idol.’
The singing competition’s producers were eager to have Perry at the judges table but Perry has turned down the one year contract and it looks like money wasn’t the issue.
Sources are saying that Katy didn’t think it was the right career choice at this time and her schedule wouldn’t permit it.
Mariah Carey has already been confirmed to replace Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson.
