Jimmy Kimmel is taking his hosting duties to the White House! The comedian was chosen by the White House Correspondents’ Association for its 98th annual dinner which will be held on April 28th.
The late-night talk show host released a statement regarding his new gig saying, “I look forward to being a part of the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner,” he finished with a funny remark saying “I love dinner.”
According to Caren Bohan who’s the president of the White House Correspondents’ Association, “Jimmy’s humor is sophisticated and edgy while appealing to a wide audience. We are thrilled that Jimmy has accepted our invitation to be the featured comedian at our annual dinner.”
