From the moment I met Julia Chantrey I knew she would be successful. I have never met anyone with such focus, discipline and ambition to succeed.
Julia’s charisma is so infectious that it’s hard not to love her and be inspired by her. With 20 years of experience in television and film, Julia caught the acting bug early. Her acting career took off with a recurring role on CBC‘s ‘Wind at My Back‘ but it was her guest-starring role in Global‘s ‘Blue Murder‘ that earned her a Gemini award in 2002.
One of Julia’s most prominent roles that earned her quite the cult following was in Tina Fey‘s 2004 film, ‘Mean Girls,’ where she played social outcast Amber D’Allesio.
When she’s not in front of the camera, Julia spends time in the studio where she works on voicing animated characters like Eva in Teletoon‘s ‘Total Drama Island.’
To promote her newest project, Julia chatted with Vicky B. Online in an exclusive interview about her role in Guillermo del Toro‘s film ’Mama‘ where she plays Nina alongside Golden Globe winner and Oscar nominee, Jesssica Chastain.
