A few weeks ago my skin starting acting up and I didn’t really know if it was the change in the weather from Winter to Spring or if it was my diet or was it the change in my skincare routine (using new products). After much research and debating, I decided to try out St. Ives Green Tea Cleanser since I read so many good reviews.
After using it for a two weeks I decided that this product was not for me. The green tea actually irritated my skin more, made it inflamed and caused me to breakout.
I wasn’t sure if it was the product or if my skin became very sensitive but after speaking to a friend of mine who is a professional makeup artist she told me that because of the caffeine in green tea it increased my blood flow and possibly made my skin to flare up and irritated it.
Though I am a huge fan of the St. Ives Apricot Scrub, the St. Ives Tea Cleanser was definitely not for me.
