Japanese "Bagel Head" Saline Injections – Trendy or Bizarre?

“Bagel head” saline injections are the latest beauty craze in Japan!

Featured in a video from the National Geographic Channel series ‘Taboo,’ this trend in Tokyo is the current body-mod craze and has been on the scene since 2008.

Men and women have saline pumped into their forehead until a large dent forms and then a practitioner presses their finger in the spot, which gives it a bagel-like shape. The “bagel head” isn’t permeant it only lasts about 16 hours and then your forehead goes back to normal.
