I’ve had an obsession with Korean skincare for quite some time now, Korean women are known for being pretty serious when it comes to their skin. Every few months I visit Holika Holikain downtown Toronto (a Korean cosmetic retailer) to pick up some goodies (their beauty masks are AMAZING).
This past weekend I picked up the Face 2 Change Liquid Roller BB Cream and I have to say it’s the best BB cream I have ever used, in my life! The BB cream has UV protection, whitening and it’s anti-wrinkle (what woman doesn’t love that?). The coverage is remarkable as well, I found it had a bit more coverage than other BB creams I used which is perfect for me.
Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be only for couples, it’s a great day to show the women in your life, like your best friends, sisters and your mom how much you love them. And what better way to do that than to host a Valentine’s Day party/brunch in honour of them!
I created these adorable mini glitter champagne bottles that will definitely be the centre of attention at your party. Your guests could drink them at the party or you can hand them out at the end as party favours.
When I first got a glimpse of Tarte Cosmetics‘ newest palette, Tartelette($44), I knew I had to have it. I have tons of neutral matte eyeshadow palettes but something about this one spoke to me.
Tarte’s newest palette features 12 exclusive all-matte eyeshadows infused with their signature Amazonian clay. Each eyeshadow is named to inspire, celebrate and empower women (I think the eyeshadow names are what spoke to me). The palette also comes with a step-by-step guide for creating a daytime and a nighttime look using the shadows. I actually wish Tarte included a step-by-step guide for four looks instead of two. I don’t think their daytime guide was very practical, most women are not going to wear a plum eye makeup look with purple liner during the day.
